polylog is a publication project based on the international cooperation of institutions and people from different cultures. It is produced in collaboration with our international advisory and editorial board made up of distinguished representatives from the field of intercultural philosophy, as well as with the help of a world-wide network of collaborators.
The project is realized in cooperation with the following institutions:

The project of polylog began in 1998, when the German language print journal, polylog: Zeitschrift für interkulturelles Philosophieren, was published for the first time. This journal, edited and published by the Viennese Society for Intercultural Philosophy with whom we cooperate, has since then beeen published regularly with two issues a year.
In terms of relevant themes for the journal, »intercultural philosophy« should be understood as new orientation in philosophical practice, and not as a label for a particular theory, discipline, or school. polylog's publications reflect such a new orientation. This is done by presenting a variety of contributions discussing central topics which are the backbone of each particular issue. Also, the journal reports on current events in the field of intercultural philosophy.
Further information on current and earlier issues of the journal can be found on its website:

Starting from 2002, the Indian print journal Satya Nilayam: Chennai Journal of Intercultural Philosophy begins to appear. It is published by the Satya Nilayam Research Institute in Chennai, India, in close cooperation with the project partner of polylog. Satya Nilayam appears twice a year in February and in August.
The journal promotes cross-cultural perspective in philosophy and related areas. Each issue presents the contributions of several authors dealing with a specific focal theme and has also a column for current issues to discuss under the heading viewpoints. Further, the journal presents reviews of related publications.
